EV output at risk but Motown keeps chin up for festive season

He highlights that the effects are not limited to electric vehicles alone — internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle production is also likely to be affected by August. While EVs are more vulnerable due to higher magnet requirements per unit, the entire auto sector is beginning to feel the strain.
