According to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), India's renewable energy sector provides 8.24 lakh jobs. The Government's emphasis on formulating all measures to become self-reliant and to revive India's sagging economy by promoting its initiatives like 'Make in India', paves the way for opportunities to manufacture various renewable energy equipment through efficient PPP enterprises as well.
