The key points highlighted by the panel included

• Indian Data Centre industry is growing rapidly, and the same would continue. The growth story is here to stay.
• Different models will co-exist and there is space for everyone
• There is enough demand in the market
• Drivers like enhanced data consumption, lower data charges, Government investment in rural digital infra & last mile connectivity would all enhance data consumption, thus leading to need for data centre

The growth would also have to be balanced with commitment towards reducing carbon emission and the climate. The need for carbon accounting for digital infra will be on the rise.
